“Let’s Do It Again”: Brandi Rhodes Confirms Her SummerSlam Plans as Husband Cody Rhodes Is Desperate for a Rematch Against Brock Lesnar

The era of wrestling power couples has been dwindling down every so often from the Attitude days. The days of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are in the past, but there is another couple that loves to entertain the public in today’s era. Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi Rhodes started pairing up together during his time away from WWE on the independent circuit and AEW and have stayed strong through all of Rhodes’ phases in his wrestling career.

Not missing an opportunity to meet and greet fans, Brandi Rhodes just made an announcement on the same day Rhodes announced his intentions to have a “rubber” match against Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Brandi Rhodes announces great news for fans for SummerSlam season

On Twitter, just as Raw aired on TV, Brandi Rhodes revealed her plans for SummerSlam. In the tweet, she wrote that the fans were lovely when they came to WrestleCon to meet her during WrestleMania season and she’s back for SummerSlam as well. She also mentioned that she’ll be there on behalf of the Dusty Rhodes Foundation. This means that all proceeds from her attendance will directly go to the charity.

The event is taking place at the same place as SummerSlam, Detroit, Michigan, and also takes place on the same weekend. With WrestleCon in place, both husband and wife will be busy with their work. While Brandi Rhodes announced this as Raw was starting, Cody Rhodes also announced that he wanted the rubber match between Lesnar and him to take place at SummerSlam.

But you might be wondering how will Brandi Rhodes support her husband in this career-defining bout with Lesnar. Well, she’s been supporting him from a distance for a while now. Seeing that she isn’t close to making her WWE debut, she found another way to rile up the crowd against her husband’s opponents.

In AEW, Cody Rhodes wasn’t the only one who was working in the company. Brandi Rhodes also had a big stake in the company when it came to on and off-screen work regarding the women’s division. But when Cody Rhodes decided to leave the company, his wife followed suit. Even after so much anticipation for her debut in WWE, Brandi Rhodes hasn’t entered the WWE ring yet.

But that didn’t stop her from providing support for her husband through Twitter. Whether Hell in a Cell, Royal Rumble, or WrestleMania, Brandi Rhodes made sure to tweet out her luck to Rhodes. When Lesnar betrayed Rhodes in front of the entire audience, Brandi fired off scathing tweets one after another toward Lesnar.
