Dwayne Johnson was a part of the Fast & Furious franchise. He played the iconic character of Luke Hobbs in the movie franchise. He gained a lot of recognition and a fan base from the movies. His last movie in the franchise was Hobbs and Shaw as he walked out of the franchise after it.
The main reason for DJ leaving the franchise was his differences with his co-star, Vin Diesel. This led a feud to develop between the two top names in the industry. However, Diesel tried to end their differences a while back, but the wrestler-turned-actor didn’t approve of his tactic to do so.

In November 2021, Diesel, via his Instagram handle, shared a message to Johnson asking him to “show up” for his role in Fast X (1oth and last installment of the movie). He stated that no other actor is fit to play the role of Luke Hobbs while mentioning The Rock’s bond with his family. He also mentioned the promise he made to Paul Walker about completing the Fast saga.
This message irked The People’s Champion, as he didn’t like the 55-year-old actor involving the deceased Paul Walker in his message. He said, “Vin’s recent public post was an example of his manipulation. I didn’t like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker’s death. Leave them out of it.”
The Great One also mentioned that he has already made up his mind about ending his journey with the movie franchise and doesn’t appreciate this move from Vin Diesel. He played a crucial role in the movie. Therefore, his absence is certainly bothering the team and creators of the franchise.

The Brahma Bull wrote, “My female costars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male costars, however, are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken sh*t to do anything about it, anyway. Candy as**s.”
As time went by and the rivalry story unfolded, many fans started to believe that he meant the post for Diesel.
