WWE might script the endings and some moves, but the injuries and botches are real. Some of the injuries can lead to careers ending, while others aren’t that serious. Madcap Moss was one of the luckier ones during his match against Drew McIntyre.

As per an exclusive report from Fightful Select, there was some concern about Moss following the botch. It so happened that during the match at Elimination Chamber, Moss landed on his head when an inverted Alabamaslam was executed. However, he continued the match and assured Happy Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and the referee that he was doing fine.

In fact, when Vince McMahon and others were re-watching the botch, Madcap Moss constantly apologized. But, neither of the Superstars received any heat from management about the same. It was a genuine botch and McIntyre is a safe worker, so there wasn’t any mistake from his end either.

Madcap Moss was evaluated by the medical staff and was confirmed to be okay.

Madcap Moss is a rising star on the WWE main roster

Moss came under the spotlight after he started working with Happy Corbin. Both of them started putting up segments, which included jokes, mockery, and all sorts of shenanigans that would get under other Superstars’ skin.

Their feud with Drew McIntyre saw Moss and Corbin steal The Scottish Warrior’s sword, brutally attack him backstage, and even dress up like McIntyre when he took time off after the attack.

The match between McIntyre and Moss at Elimination Chamber could be the last one before McIntyre gets his hands on Happy Corbin himself. Moreover, Corbin hasn’t been the friend that Moss has been. In fact, Corbin was the one who eliminated Moss during the Royal Rumble men’s match.

It’s possible that soon Moss will turn on Corbin, and the duo will go their own ways. Moreover, Happy Corbin hasn’t been in a storyline for a while, which involves him doing most of the fight. If WWE breaks up the two, there could be a feud between Madcap Moss and Corbin himself!
