As the Chief Content Officer of WWE, Triple H always looks for opportunities to bring something new to the table. His work as the head of creatives is appreciated by WWE fans a lot of times. Recent reports are coming in about Levesque’s intentions with an NXT star and fans might not hop onto that idea.
NXT is the developmental brand for WWE. So, it could be said that it produces a lot of future stars. However, according to the reports, Hunter wants this star to main event the upcoming WrestleMania.

The former wrestler does not want his promotion to get monotonous with its matches. Because of this, he can end up having an idea that fans could deem ‘odd’. The ‘Wrestling Observer’ recently reported that WWE is looking forward to giving a chance to a new wrestler to ‘main event’ at WrestleMania. The wrestler is NXT’s one and only Von Wagner.
Meltzer reported through WON, “He’s tall, he’s got blonde hair, they want him to main event WrestleMania, but you need charisma to get to that level.” Through Meltzer’s words, it can be speculated that Triple H sees potential in Wagner’s physical appearance. Due to his tall height and physique, WWE can picture him in a WrestleMania main event. However, according to the reporter himself, the wrestler lacks charisma and can work on that.

Even in NXT, there are a lot of other talents that can claim to have a better chance at main eventing WrestleMania down the line than Wagner at the moment. But if the management is focused on making him a star, it might not be too long before we see him become a regular fixture at the top of the card. But still, even his current NXT run hasn’t been that impressive, and he has remained largely in the shadows.
Where has Wagner been so far?
Before starting with WWE, Wagner was a footballer. He played for the University of Central Florida till 2016 after graduating from his highschool. Having been trained under wrestling veterans like his father, Wayne Bloom, Wagner soon made his wrestling debut straight to WWE in 2019.

The wrestler has won a lot of wrestling matches during his time at NXT. Although he hasn’t found his permanent place on the roster yet, that might be about to change if this report is anything to go by. However, whether Wagner will be a good fit at the main event just yet is up for debate among fans.
