Bayley has once again shared a thoughtful chapter of her life with fans. It goes back to the time when the female wrestler was wishing for more female factions in WWE. The Huggable One had seen some female groups but establishing a well-known female faction was her ultimate wish.
The former WWE SmackDown Women’s champion did not settle until she accomplished her goal. On July 30, 2022, her very own female villainous faction, ‘Damage CTRL’ debuted. Through a recent interview, fans come to know the birth process of the family she established on RAW.

The uniquely named faction was a product generated in the mind of the former NXT Women’s champion. Even though she wanted to establish a bigger female faction, something that hadn’t been done before, Triple H asked her to let the planned members settle in for starters. WWE’s COO supported the idea but didn’t want Bayley to be under a lot of pressure regarding the execution of her own project.

Giving his support to the star, Triple H let her continue with her search for a female wrestler who would be ready for the next step. “I talked to Hunter about this couple WrestleManias ago and he told me like, ‘you guys are cool together but find a reason why,’” said Bayley.
While talking to the popular sports journalist, Ariel Helwani, Bayley remembers sharing the detail of how she went through the process. It all started when she was injured and eventually started looking for new members to join the planned group. She went to several shoots and observed and shortlisted a lot of aspiring female wrestlers. However, in the end, fans saw only three members in total.
Bayley made a desperate effort to get her faction started
As mentioned earlier, the CCO of WWE did not want a lot of things to happen at once. Still, he let Bayley go ahead and make the call for herself but things did not turn out the best for her. “It just all kind of fell apart and I’m like you know what maybe it’s not just a good idea,” said the female wrestler. According to her, things clearly weren’t meant to take place at the time she wanted them to.

Considering all the issues that she was facing, Bayley still ended up giving her “last-ditch effort” to Triple H until SummerSlam came up. The event last year saw a brand new female faction walking down the aisle and the group with Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai has been a prominent feature of WWE programming since that day.
