LA Knight’s surprising alliance with WWE icon John Cena

WWE’s LA Knight is a key figure on SmackDown. He recently expressed his surprise at the unexpected opportunity to work alongside wrestling legend John Cena. The 16-time World Champion, a colossal figure in the industry, joined forces with Knight. They teamed at Fastlane and were victorious Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a tag team match.

Knight and Cena are scheduled to face members of The Bloodline in separate matches at the upcoming Crown Jewel event. Knight discussed the experience during an interview with Alex McCarthy of Mail Sport, describing the chance to team with Cena as an unthinkable but delightful opportunity.

He said, “Well it’s crazy because, I said this back when I was in NXT and I won the million-dollar championship, there are certain goals that I had written out for myself that I knew were tangible, attainable and all that. And then there are certain goals that I didn’t even think were things that were available or on the table at the time.

He also added, “And this is another one of those things where it’s like, I hadn’t anticipated. Me and John Cena would team up. You know, to take on one of the biggest things going on right now, which is The Bloodline, so you know, it’s a pretty sweet deal”.
