At this moment, we all know about Dwayne Johnson and his need to multitask everything around him. While shooting for countless movies, he is also managing the first season of the XFL under him. Meanwhile, he is also on the way to becoming a billionaire and the rumors of his WWE return don’t seem to stop as well.

So, it was a refreshing look to see his fellow wrestler, Kurt Angle describe Johnson’s work ethic during his early days in Hollywood. While it was still twenty years ago, it seems like some things never change, especially in case of The Rock.

Kurt Angle reveals how Dwayne Johnson managed to work in Hollywood and WWE at the same time

On the newest episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympian revealed everything about working with The Rock. At one point in time, both stars were at the top of WWE and gave great performances, on the mic and in the ring. But there was a separation from Johnson’s side when Hollywood came knocking at his door.

About his double duty in WWE and Hollywood Angle said, “I was surprised because by this time he had the movie deal. Rock was a workhorse. He never turned Vince down. Always wanted to work harder and harder. He wanted to show up. There are a lot of times when he had movies coming up. And if the show was in his city, where he was, he would tell Vince I want to wrestle tonight.

Despite often getting labeled as someone who didn’t think twice before jumping to Hollywood, Angle’s comments show The Rock’s dedication and loyalty to WWE. This is the dedication that Johnson came back with when he returned to have his iconic matches with John Cena. Even though he was still busy with many projects, The Rock made time for WWE. Could we see that happen again in the coming years?

Could we see Dwayne Johnson return to the ring?

One thing of note that Angle added while talking about Johnson’s double duty was, “So Dwayne always wanted to be a part of wrestling and he always was up until a short period of time ago. But you know, I wouldn’t doubt if he comes back again.” Could this be a hint towards a potential return for The Rock?

A couple of years ago, Angle praised Jungle Cruise, Johnson’s 2021 movie, the Olympian asked for one last match with the Brahma Bull. The Rock was also quick to reply and say that he would love to SmackDown him in the middle of the ring.

With Vince McMahon back in the boss’ seat at WWE, could we see Johnson doing a favor for his old boss again?
