Gable Steveson shocked many people when he signed with the WWE. At a young age, Steveson had achieved splendid success by winning an Olympic Gold medal. But one thing that Steveson will lack in WWE is the experience of the WWE style of wrestling.
Recently, in an episode of The Kurt Angle Show, former WWE superstar and Olympic Gold medalist, Kurt Angle was asked if Gable Steveson made a good decision by joining WWE at such a young age.
Addressing this question, Kurt said, “He’s gonna go back to college one more year and wrestle. I don’t know why. To go back to the NCAA, I guess, he just gives them another title under his belt.”

“But I think he wanted to fulfill his promise to the rest of the program in Minnesota. So I don’t blame him for that. But I think Gable is going to be a great addition to the WWE,” he added.
Gable Steveson recently attended WWE Day 1 PPV. But there is still no confirmation on when we will see Steveson battle in WWE.
It will also be exciting to see who WWE will decide to be Gable’s first opponent following his arrival in WWE.

Why Gable Steveson is yet to appear on Raw?
Fans have been waiting eagerly ever since Gable Steveson got drafted to Monday Night Raw during the 2021 WWE Draft. People were eager to see Steveson wrestle inside the squared circle on Raw.
But Steveson is yet to appear on WWE Raw. The main reason behind this is that he is yet to graduate from college. Steveson is an extremely talented athlete, and he is also an Olympic Gold medalist.

Following his signing with WWE, he became the second Olympic Gold medalist to be signed by WWE.
Gable signed an NCAA NIL (name, image, likeness) deal with WWE. This is WWE’s first NCAA NIL deal. Because of this deal, Steveson will be able to defend his NCAA Division I National Championship.

He will also be allowed to finish his senior year at the University of Minnesota. However, he will continue to be a part of the WWE roster and will also undergo training at the same time.
