The reason Brock Lesnar was on the top of the card was not just because of his sheer size and agility, which made him the most eye-catching WWE superstar of all time. Rather, he also has extraordinary in-ring skills and performed Shooting Star Press, which he stopped doing after his WWE debut.
But Lesnar tried to use the move again at WrestleMania 19 and botched it. He fell hard on his neck and almost ended his career.

Recently, a Twitter fan page shared a video with their tweet. Along with the video they wrote, “Kids these days think that all Brock can do is german suplex & f5, if only they knew.”
Brock Lesnar performed the Shooting Star Press during his OVW days. Moreover, he also used the move while he wrestled a few dark matches while he was in the main roster and was successful. However, Lesnar stopped using it when a few WWE legends suggested an aerial move doesn’t go with his character.

The fans shared their reaction to the above video. Further, they shared sympathy for Lesnar’s escape from a near career-ending move.
The Conqueror was indeed lucky to walk out from that match against Kurt Angle safe after a hard landing.
Yeah it's cool, badass even, but I was there at WM19 and boy did I freak out when he didn't get it, I thought he was injured permanently for sure. That one time is all it takes to agree with "never again". Thank goodness there's recording's of it landing.

If he hit it at Mania it would've been an all time highlight reel moment, he was lucky to walk away from that one

He would break his neck if he tried it now!!! Like the last time he did almost happened that. I don’t want the beast hospitalized!!!

He doesn’t do it any more because he almost broke his neck doing it at WM19

For some reason a few people think the botched one against Angle was his only attempt which is why people think he just can’t do it.

A couple of fans think Lesnar can still perform the move if given a chance and executed properly.
You think he can still do that?
— Christopher (@AIR_PAIZ) August 7, 2022
I believe he can still do it

Well, The Beast Incarnate jumped from the Tractor’s loader, but it doesn’t mean he would have smoothly done a Shooting Star Press!
He should’ve did that same move to Roman reigns at summerslam

A few fans state that he almost broke his neck last time and won’t ever go try doing this aerial move again.
he broke his neck the last time he did the move

I only seen that attempt on Kurt I didn’t know that he actually can hit the move🤯

The Beast Incarnate has never talked more about that incident after botching the move. He has recalled a few times about a major pain in the neck and felt concussion for few hours when he botched it.
Who told Brock Lesnar to use the Shooting Star Press at WrestleMania 19?
Every WWE fan would remember Brock Lesnar misjudging Kurt Angle in the ring and botching the Shooting Star Press in 2003. However, everyone wondered why Lesnar used the move if he had stopped performing it for the past two years since his debut.

Apparently, ahead of their match at WrestleMania 19, Angle had suggested Lesnar use the Shooting Star Press at WrestleMania because it would make an exceptional moment. The Beast had no plans to reprise the aerial move again.

However, he couldn’t say no to The Olympic Hero and went for it. During the match, Lesnar was nervous and failed to get a full rotation for the move and landed on his neck. Surprisingly, that was the actual finish of the match where Lesnar had to pin Angle after the Shooting Star Press.

Angle, later guided the former UFC Champion and told him to connect an F-5. Hence, the match ended and luckily Lesnar only suffered minimal damage on his neck and never attempted to use the move again.
