“Knees Gave Out”: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Horrific Injury Feared Online After Seemingly Botching Move at WrestleMania XL

WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia is captivating WWE fans worldwide, with legendary wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson adding to the excitement. His return to the ring alongside Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins was a major highlight of the night, marking his first match in 11 years. 

However, concerns arose when footage hinted at a potential injury for The Rock, evoking memories of a past injury he sustained during WrestleMania 29’s clash with John Cena. Fans were worried about his injury and took to X to express their concerns.

Dwayne Johnson’s knee injury scared his fans 

The WrestleMania Night 1 was a success that took place in the Lincoln Financial Field in The City of Brotherly Love. Many die-hard fans attended the ‘Super Bowl’ of WWE. The highlight of the event was the Tag Team match. However, during a segment where The Rock was fighting Rollins, an unexpected mistake was made, leading to a possible injury. 

Dwayne Johnson’s entry was electrifying with lightning, thunder, and the burning flame of his Brahma Bull sign. Although fans were excited to see the Peoples Champ fight, one thing did scare them. 

The Rock seemed to struggle under his own weight as Seth countered a Sharpshooter move. During the moment when Rock was having a brawl with Rollins, he bounced off the side of the ring. It looked as if he possibly sustained a knee or an ankle injury. 

This became a big issue as previously also Johnson had a history of getting surgery after his fight with John Cena. It was during the WrestleMania 29.

As the match was going on it looked as if Johnson’s knees gave out. Although Johnson and Reigns won the match, fans took to X and voiced out their concerns about this botched move. 

WWE Universe concerned for The Final Boss

WWE Universe was quick enough to notice the blunder and expressed their fear after the WrestleMania XL event. One fan was stressed out stating how he noticed him limping after the match. He even emphasised how on Night 2 this might get addressed. 

Some even made comments on how his knees gave out during the fight and laughed it off.

However, after this comment, Rock’s fans came out of support and stated how the haters wanted him to get hurt.

A user also pointed out how his knees are not functioning as properly as expected. 

Lastly, another fan claimed and showed concerns saying how his age plays a factor and that it is no surprise. According to him, it was an expected thing to be seen since Johnson is 51 years old now. 

Despite some criticism from netizens, hardcore fans of Johnson were quick to defend him, praising their favorite WWE star for delivering an impressive performance in the ring after a long hiatus.
