Stone Cold Steve Austin is an idol and inspiration for many pro wrestlers. Over the years, he has given some valuable advice to several individuals that had a positive impact on their careers. And this list of individuals also includes his rumored WrestleMania 38 opponent Kevin Owens.

Recently, speaking on the Out of Character with Ryan Satin Podcast, the WWE Raw superstar recalled his meeting with the Texas Rattlesnake in 2005 at an airport in Texas.

Back in 2005, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came across Stone Cold Steve Austin at the airport. Owens noticed Austin and did not want to miss the chance to interact with the WWE legend.

Speaking to Ryan Satin, Kevin Owens mentioned he and Sami Zayn walked up to Austin and introduced themselves. The WWE Raw superstar claimed Austin was nice and very friendly with them, and they even had a conversation about the pro wrestling business.

Owens said, “He was super nice, very friendly. We chatted a little about the business and how the independents work and stuff like that. Then they called the first-class passengers.”

“Of course, Mr. Fancy Pants was in First Class so he had to go. And I go, ‘I can’t let him walk away’. I go, ‘Dude if you have one piece of advice for us, what is it?’ And he goes, ‘Just keep running your mouth. Just never stop running your mouth,'” he added.

Today, Kevin Owens is one of WWE’s biggest stars. And soon, he might have one of the biggest matches of his career against Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38.

Steve Austin is an individual who had an unfortunate end to his in-ring career. He suffered several injuries that led him to retire from in-ring action in 2003.

A career that entertained the WWE fans with various segments and storylines might be once again back on track.

Though Austin entertained the WWE Universe by making sporadic appearances after his official retirement, he never competed again in a match.

But recently, there have been reports about Austin entering the squared circle once again to compete at this year’s WrestleMania.

It is rumored that Kevin Owens will be the WWE superstar who will take on the Texas Rattlesnake at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, Texas.
