Kevin Owens and Stone Cold Steve Austin stole the show on Night One of WrestleMania 38. Steve Austin and Kevin Owens competed in a No Holds Barred Match on Austin’s return to in-ring competition.

For most of the match, the Texas Rattlesnake was in control as he dominated Kevin Owens. But Owens almost got the win over the WWE Hall of Famer after hitting Austin with a Stunner. However, Stone Cold Steve Austin kicked out before the three count.

The former WWE Universal Champion then tried to hit Austin with a steel chair.

Unfortunately for Owens, Austin dodged it and the chair bounced back off the ropes to hit Kevin Owens in the face. Austin then capitalized on this opportunity and hit the Stunner on Owens for the pinfall.

Soon after the match, Lance Storm took to Twitter and highlighted this moment. In the caption of his post, Storm praised Owens by claiming that ‘The Prizefighter’ did it better than WWE legend Kurt Angle.

Lance Storm wrote, “I didn’t think anyone was ever going to pull this off better than Kurt did. I was wrong.”

Back in 2002, Kurt Angle pulled off a similar thing in one of his matches against Edge. He tried to hit Edge with the steel chair, but he missed and the chair bounced back off the ropes to hit him on his face.

There were several other moments in Kevin Owens’ match against Steve Austin that amazed the WWE Universe. And this steel chair moment was just one of them.
