Kevin Owens just dissed Vince McMahon on SmackDown—Is he the hero WWE needs right now?

Kevin Owens has been officially announced as the next contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship, and fans are overjoyed. Everyone in the audience was pumped up for this segment on Smackdown when Cody Rhodes, the Champion, revealed his next challenger. Owens stood admirably in this segment, and one of his remarks drew a lot of attention since it may have been about former WWE Head of Creative Vince McMahon.

Kevin Owens stated at one point in the segment that he does not deserve to be a challenger because of his win-loss record. Although Owens later stated that he had yet to get his rematch clause. This was a reference to Fastlane 2017 when Kevin Owens lost his WWE Universal Championship to Goldberg and never had a chance to reclaim the championship.

This was done because Vince McMahon was more interested in Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg at WrestleMania that year. Kevin Owens eventually accepted Champion’s request and will now battle him at the next WWE Premium Live Event Bash in Berlin. This encounter is going to be huge because these two superstars are capable of doing a lot of good inside the ring and the whole WWE Universe wanted this match to happen.

Can Kevin Owens win the Undisputed WWE Championship?

Owens vs. Rhodes will be a massive contest, as the fans are really involved in it. This is the match people sought from WWE, and Triple H once again demonstrated how he differs from Vince McMahon in being the Creative Head as The Game listens to the fans. However, if this is accurate, there is a potential that a new Undisputed WWE Champion will walk out of the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event.

This might be true since the WWE Universe not only wants this fight to happen but also for KO to win the championship. They want this to happen because if KO and Orton can win both world championships, it will be a lot of fun to watch them together as R-KO, a tag team that wins the World Heavyweight Championships rather than the Tag Team Championship. Although this is a dream booking, the possibilities of this happening are rather high. Bash in Berlin is right around the corner and only the event can answer if this will happen or not.
