“We Have Already Got Down That Road”: Dwayne Johnson Makes His Best Friend Feel Sorry for Being Too Sarcastic

Dwayne Johnson is one of the best actors to work with in Hollywood, as many other stars often say. He is known to be kind and always brings out the positive versions of himself and the people who are with him. However, once, The Rock’s closest friend felt bad for speaking sarcastically about him when Johnson later praised him.

A few years back in 2019, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart appeared for an interview with Mark S. Allen. There, Allen asked Hart to say something good about his best friend. However, he made some sarcastic comments but later realized he made a mistake saying those things after The Rock spoke some good words about him.

Johnson said, “Verbally I say what I love about Kevin Hart. I love the fact that he is a family man and he’s a man of god. He is a great dresser.” Hart interrupted, “I wanna say some good stuff”.

The Great One added, “No no no no no! We’ve already gone that road. No. And that you’re a great father because you and I have spoken about the two different things about being a dad and a father. It’s too important to be a father. You’ve just been a really good friend to me, who’s been very supportive. How’s that?” “And one more thing…go f**k yourself”.

Clearly, the comedian was feeling embarrassed about saying those sarcastic things about Johnson. He had his chance to speak something positive about The People’s Champion but he didn’t.

Hart talked about the former WWE star finishing his food, being a good clapper, and also said Johnson is a good speaker. Surprisingly little did he think that his best friend wouldn’t use sarcasm and share his actual feelings.

Moreover, he has shared the screen with his buddy Kevin Hart in five movies; one of them being a cameo appearance in Hobbs and Shaw.

Their fifth film together was released last month. It is the ‘DC League of Super-Pets’. The film has got immense praise and fans loved their work for giving voice to their characters. After Johnson’s ‘Black Adam’, it will be another DC film Johnson gets to be a part of.

Furthermore, the next installment of Jumanji is also in the planning stage. If all works well, fans could get to see them share the big screen once again.
