Kenny Omega has always been one of the top stars in AEW. Recently, the current AEW Champion took on Bryan Danielson during his AEW in-ring debut at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.
This match grabbed all the attention of the fans as it featured two of the best fighters out there. And while the match was exciting to watch, unfortunately for the fans, the match ended in a time-limit draw.
Since then, Bryan has been looking for a rematch with Kenny Omega. But the AEW World Champion looks reluctant to accept Bryan’s challenge for their rematch.

Recently Omega appeared for an interview where he talked about many things including the WWE. Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Omega took a dig at WWE as he claimed that the WWE is becoming desperate after watching AEW’s rise.
He said (h/t: High Rambles),” At the start, there was an enormous gap between WWE and AEW. (AEW) was just some fledgling promotion, after all. But have you realized how the tables have turned? WWE is desperate. They keep bringing back legends every other week.”
Later in the interview, Omega also claimed that he feels many more WWE wrestlers would want to match the switch to AEW in the future.
“I feel that about 90% of the wrestlers in WWE would want to jump over to AEW,” Omega added.

Who is ahead? – WWE or AEW
AEW has proved to be a genuine threat to WWE in recent times. Tony Khan’s AEW has attracted major stars like CM Punk and Bryan Danielson. Previously also, we have seen many WWE Superstars make the switch from WWE to AEW.
Recently, AEW even got the better of WWE. Something that is praise-worthy. A few weeks back, WWE failed short of AEW’s rating in the 18-49 demo. This certainly announced AEW’s legit challenge to WWE.
AEW’s growing popularity has been a worry for WWE, but it will surely excite the fans as the WWE and Vince McMahon surely won’t back down.

Vince McMahon is always at his best when he is challenged. This was evident when the WWE Chairman produced one of the best Monday Night Raw episodes in recent times last week.
On the other hand, Tony Khan had other ideas. During that same week, AEW announced Daniel Bryan’s (now Bryan Danielson) debut in AEW at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

The event witnessed a record attendance of 20,000. But came just short of WWE in viewership ratings. This battle between WWE and AEW is far from over and while cannot know how it will turn out. One thing is for sure that the rivalry between the companies will surely be beneficial for combat sports fans.
