WWE took to Twitter and announced that MVP suffered injuries at the hands of ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton from this past Monday Night Raw. But this injury could mean good news for another Raw superstar: Keith Lee.

WWE noted MVP suffered broken ribs after Orton delivered an RKO on the floor and announced that he will be out of action for an indefinite time. This is terrible news for the former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

However, fans on the internet assume MVP is kayfabe injured and the WWE creative team is doing so to make the Raw Tag Team Championship division much more interesting.

Earlier this month, Lashley and MVP won the Raw Tag Team turmoil match and became the number one contender for Orton and Riddle’s tag titles.

However, the match was delayed because Orton challenged Lashley for the WWE Championship, but Big E cashed in and changed the landscape of the Raw main event scene.

This could be the perfect time for Keith Lee to step up

WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon wanted to present Keith Lee as a ‘monster heel’ on Raw. However, there were no solid storylines to support it. Reports suggested Adam Cole would the Limitless’ manager, but his departure shut those rumours.

Now with MVP out of action, Lashley might recruit the former NXT Champion and challenge the Raw Tag Team Champions. Lee has been out of action for a while and his return to the main roster was not impressive.

Keith Lee would do wonders as a heel character. His recent babyface run on the main roster has been underwhelming. Considering the fact that Lee bested Matt Riddle multiple times in NXT, adding Keith Lee would be a great idea.

However, WWE might be doing this kayfabe injury to bring ‘The Hurt Business’ back. The faction split up in late March after Lashley dismissed Benjamin and Cedric Alexander from the group. He then beat both of them in back-to-back WWE Championship matches, ahead of a WrestleMania clash with Drew McIntyre.
