The former WWE superstar Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone now) has been part of wrestling news since the moment she controversially left WWE. Fans were expecting her to come back soon, but it’s been over a year and there are no signs of her returning. 

The WWE Universe is missing its ‘Boss’ and eagerly waiting for good news. But it’s not just the fans who want her back. A top WWE superstar is also missing Banks and despite their professional rivalry, she wants to share the ring with her once again.

A former women’s champion wants Sasha Banks to return to WWE

Recently, WWE superstar Bayley gave an interview for the Gorilla Position. There, the host asked her if she is still in touch with Sasha Banks and asked her about a possible WWE comeback. To this, Bayley replied instantly that she desperately wants Banks to return. 

The Damage CTRL leader also mentioned that she would love to share the ring with Banks once again, regardless of whether it is as a partner or as an opponent. 

Talking about Sasha Banks, Bayley said, “Every day, I beg her every time. Now you know what it doesn’t matter where it is or it doesn’t matter how it happens….. I would love to one day step back in the ring with her. I would love, whether it’s teaming with her, whether it’s against her.”

Bayley also said that Sasha Banks is quite happy with her career right now and that she is glad to see her friend accomplishing her goals.

“But right now, I just want whatever happiness she needs to feel. Whatever she needs…. accomplish her dreams, accomplish her goals. I’m just happy to see her happy well.”, Bayley continued.

It’s been a year since Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of the WWE arena. They were the tag team champions at the time. The entire WWE Universe skipped a beat when the duo left their titles on the desk of WWE’s head of talent relations.

Currently, Sasha Banks is signed to New Japan Pro Wrestling. However, she has been out of action for a while because of her ankle injury. Banks has promised fans that they will see her competing inside the ring very soon. But to Bayley’s hard luck, it may not be in the WWE.
