“Keep Trying Kid”: Logan Paul’s Failed Attempt at Beating Jump Record Mocked by WWE Superstar

When Logan Paul joined the WWE, fans were not expecting his monumental rise from becoming a celebrity in the WWE to having a match with Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel for the Universal title. Paul has done his best to make the fans believe he is as good as he claims to be. Unfortunately, sometimes overconfidence can backfire. The United States champion felt this when he tried to break a record.

Paul will be facing The Miz on the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown. Before this, he was in the Performance Center training when the unfortunate record-breaking attempt happened.

Ivar mocks Logan Paul for attempting to break Montez Ford’s record

As mentioned above, Paul was in his routine training session on PC when he noticed something. It was the wall of records by WWE stars. Among them was Montez Ford, who recorded the longest long jump. The United States champion claimed that he wanted to break that record, which stood at 39 as he was eyeing it from the start.

“Keep trying kid,” Ivar wrote to Paul. Surprisingly, Ivar’s name was second on the list. Ivar hit 32.9, which is really impressive for someone of his stature. Paul was visibly surprised that he couldn’t break the record as he claimed he would. He did say that he would do so, but it may not have been today. Paul had been training before the attempt, and one could argue he was exhausted while trying.

Nevertheless, Paul has conquered several obstacles and proved numerous detractors wrong so far in his WWE journey. No one would have thought he would win the United States championship so early into his WWE career, but he has usurped Rey Mysterio to do so. He will be hoping the same is the case in his pursuit of clinching the record as he takes a swing at it next time.

With the social media star having to fend off several WWE superstars eyeing the gold on his waist, he will have to be extra cautious in participating in other endeavors as he risks losing focus. Just like Ivar pounced on the chance to mock Paul, others could be vying for a chance to capitalize on any of his shortcomings.
