Theory, previously known as Austin Theory, is positioned as the next top WWE superstar in the company. The protégé of Vince McMahon has impressed everyone and is the youngest United States Champion at 24-years old. On top of that, he has shared the ring with Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38.

His match at WrestleMania 38 was second last on the Day 2 card and received positive reviews. Furthermore, Vince McMahon himself was present ringside to watch his match and also later had a match with Pat McAfee.

Theory recently has an interview with the New York Post, where he told about his WrestleMania 38 experience. He stated about a lot of last-minute changes and additions to all of his after-match segments. Clearly, he was excited to share the ring with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Theory said, “Going into WrestleMania, obviously I knew me and Pat McAfee were going to have a match and then later finding out Mr. McMahon is gonna have a match against Pat McAfee. Then the whole Stone Cold thing, was kind of finding that out last minute and just trying to digest that and at the same time having I feel like my first real WrestleMania match. There’s a lot going on.”

He added, “Mr. McMahon’s out there. That’s someone to me, I think to everybody that when it comes to sports entertainment, that’s somebody who’s right on that Mount Rushmore, and then to top it all off “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and I think that kind of speaks for itself.”

The 24- year WWE star is elated with his performance at the Grandest Stage he gave this year. He praised Pat McAfee for giving a stellar performance in their match even though he doesn’t wrestle full time. Their match was before the main event and it exceeded the hopes of all the fans.

Was Theory ready for the Stone Cold Steve Austin Stunner?

Theory had a wonderful WrestleMania moment this year, even though he was on the losing side and received a stunner. The US Champion also shared whether he rehearsed for the stunner prior to the match.

Theory said, “Yup. Everything for that was right there, no rehearsing, just right into it.” The 24-year-old star impressed everybody on that night. A few days later, he defeated Finn Balor on an episode of RAW to win the United States Championship.

As of now, Theory is preparing for his title defense against Mustafa Ali at Hell in a Cell on Sunday. The Vince McMahon protégé is always with a plan and will surely look forward to taking the title with him on Sunday after the match.
