After adventures in space and motor vehicles with SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk has now ventured off to new lands and new opportunities. This time in the sphere of social media with the acquisition of Twitter. But taking away a free speech platform that has been protecting people from spreading hate speech and hate speech agenda is not jelling well with people on the platform.

So opposing his taking over of Twitter, celebrities and famous people are leaving Twitter forever. This also includes a lot of wrestlers from all walks of life and experience in the industry. Most prominent of these wrestlers was WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion, Mick Foley. He made it clear to his followers that he would be leaving the platform if Musk was taking over the company. And he did. But now another prominent wrestler in the industry has done the same thing.

Also giving an intimation like Mick Foley, Hangman Adam Page, the former AEW World, and Tag Team Champion quit Twitter after Musk’s acquisition. If you try to search for his account, this page will show up telling the user that the account doesn’t exist anymore. While a bold move by the Cowboy of AEW, this will definitely affect Hangman’s career from now on.

One of the ways by which another of his fellow AEW superstar, MJF, grows his fanbase is by tweeting. Wrestling Twitter is a wild and critical community. The wrestling fans dissect and take out everything from the ever-growing content factory they love; that is wrestling. While some are AEW or WWE-centric, many of them are just after good-old wrestling storylines and matches.

So, getting away from one-half of your fanbase and direct interaction with them will most probably affect Hangman’s career in some way. But right now, it seems his career is on hold regardless of Twitter. In a match, a few weeks ago, against Jon Moxley, he suffered a career-threatening injury. But luckily everything is alright and Adam is in full recovery.
