Dwayne Johnson is at the pinnacle of his career. In addition to his acting career, his other ventures also turned out to be immense success. His several enterprises, including Teremana Tequila, Seven Bucks Production, and others, are snowballing. Subsequently, he is all set to relaunch XFL in 2023. 

In case you don’t know, in 2020, The Rock and Dany Garcia bought XFL from his former boss, Vince McMahon, for $15 Million. It should be noted that he has always had a strong enthusiasm for football. It appears that he bought it because he loved the game, although it had failed in its previous two seasons.

The Great One revealed what X stands for in XFL. Football talent DuShon David recently in a tweet expressed appreciation for the opportunity Johnson and the XFL offered. Johnson said that the ‘X’ in XFL represents the junction where opportunities and ambitions intersect.

Since the time of the purchase, The Rock has emphasized that the XFL would strive to provide young players a platform to develop and showcase their skills in front of millions of people.

In case you don’t know, the calendar for the league has been made public and it will eventually begin on February 18, 2023. And the 40 regular-season games between each division’s teams will determine which advances to the playoffs. Additionally, Johnson has previously disclosed the XFL coaches.

In April, Johnson took Instagram to announce the Head Coach lineup for the upcoming XFL. Notably, Wade Phillips, Terrell Buckley, Hines Ward, Rod Woodson, Reggie Barlow, Bob Stoops, Anthony Becht, and Jim Haslett will serve as the head coaches.

The Houston Team will be coached by Wade Phillips, a former NFL head coach who oversaw six different teams. NFL standout Terrell Buckley will coach Orlando. Hines Ward and Bob Stoops will lead the other two Texas teams in coaching.

Meanwhile, Reggie Barlow will oversee Washington, DC, and Rod Woodson will lead Las Vegas. Jim Haslett and Anthony Becht will also be serving in St. Louis and Seattle, respectively. The experience of each coach is significant. In light of this, it will be intriguing to watch how the teams perform.
