In a candid interaction with the Wrestle Joy podcast, the second-generation superstar was quite forthcoming. He discussed how never being in the main event might come to haunt him and be advantageous for The Tribal Chief. Rhodes said, “I’ve been in a stadium before and I’ve taken this walk but this is a first to be able to, to be able to take this home to be going on last and that’s where I’m at a disadvantage.
“Because it’s not for Roman this is his number seven I believe this is you know as bison pointed out just another Tuesday for him even though it’s Sunday, but it’s a Street Fighter movie quote”. Added the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble match winner.
The American Nightmare certainly has a point, Reigns has headlined six ‘Showcase of Immortals’ already in his career. Another daunting facet of knocking the dominating champion off his perch.
While ‘The Head of The Table’ has come up against the who’s who of the wrestling world at the spectacle event, even he would admit he will be coming up against a tricky opponent this time.
WWE has also done a stellar job at hyping up this huge encounter. So much so, that an AEW star has also chimed in with his praise for the feud.

Matt Hardy, who is currently signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion recently heaped a lot of praise on both competitors specifically for their blockbuster promo in the last episode of RAW. It is no mean feat to impress all the quarters in this day and age. But both men appear to have pulled it off quite efficiently. Cody Rhodes is right in pinpointing the number of times that Roman Reigns has appeared in WrestleMania main events. Moreover, in that regard, he clearly enjoys a sort of advantage over his challenger. But Rhodes has waited all his life for this historic night and he would try to make it count at all costs.
