In a promising development, it appears that their journey is just beginning. During his post-match press conference, Moxley expressed his desire to return to Japan alongside Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli. He revealed in a post-match conference that he hopes to bring more talents to his faction.
Adding to the excitement, Moxley revealed plans to include Marina Shafir in the group, describing her as a “friend” and specifying her role as the representative of the BCC. These remarks have stirred interest among AEW fans, fueling speculation about the potential addition of a female star to the faction.
He said, “Friend of the Blackpool Combat Club, Marina Shafir, it’s a goal of mine to get her out in Japan. Seeing Marina Shafir wrestle, I think the fans of Japan, when you see her submission skills or Judo skills, her martial art skills on the mat, I think fans of Japan will absolutely adore the violence she can bring to women’s wrestling.” Moxley emphasized the desire to bring the best talent, highlighting Shafir as a formidable representative for the Blackpool Combat Club.
He also added, “That’s something I hope to have in the future. Marina Shafir, she wants a shot in Japan.” Despite missing out during Wrestle Kingdom 18, Moxley’s plans are generating considerable anticipation within the wrestling community.

At Wrestle Kingdom 18, Jon Moxley fell short of becoming the inaugural IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion. In a match against David Finlay and Will Ospreay, it was Finlay who emerged victorious, securing the gold. Following the bout, Finlay engaged in a heated exchange with former WWE star Dolph Ziggler.
Later in the event, Bryan Danielson faced off against Kazuchika Okada, only to find himself on the losing end as Okada sealed the victory with a Rainmaker. This win provided Okada with a measure of revenge, countering the previous submission defeat he suffered at the hands of the American Dragon during Forbidden Door II.
