Ronda Rousey is a legend in combat sports. She represented Team USA in Judo at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and later; she became the first woman to hold a UFC belt. In 2018, she moved to WWE and won the Raw Women’s Title before departing to start a family.

‘Rowdy’ returned to WWE at the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match and won it to punch her ticket to WrestleMania 38. She opted to challenge Charlotte Flair for SmackDown Women’s Title, but did appear on Raw and confront Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

Before going to WrestleMania 38, Ronda and Charlotte faced each other in a tag team match at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. In this bout, ‘Rowdy’ had to fight with one hand tied behind. 

On the following SmackDown, the team of Charlotte and Sonya tried to injure Ronda’s right knee, which has been operated on seven times in her entire career. Ronda responded later on Instagram:

No matter how you hurt or restrain me, I’ll find a way to beat you because I’m still the #BestOnMyWorstDay”

Rousey countered the sneak attack and thwarted Deville and Flair, who took this rivalry to a personal level. This will not be good news for Charlotte Flair, who knows that she will have her work cut out in Texas.

Ronda Rousey opened the latest episode of SmackDown and spoke to Michael Cole. However, Charlotte Flair interrupted and revealed her enjoyment at giving the former champion a grand welcome at Elimination Chamber.

Charlotte also predicted that she would put her opponent in the figure eight lock. Further, she said, “And for the first time in your life, you are going to scream for mercy and tap out.”

The match between them will be exciting to watch. But, after knowing that Rousey has come up with a style that protects her leg, will ‘The Queen’ be able to secure the leg lock?
