John Cena’s WWE Return Will Most Likely Give LA Knight ’The Ultimate Push, Could Team Up to Face Grayson Waller & a Former WWE Champion

As everyone knows by now, John Cena is all set to return to the WWE after his hiatus. The last time Cena was seen was at MITB, in London which sent the fans into a complete state of frenzy. Also, the last time Cena was seen in action in the ring was at WrestleMania 39 where he battled Austin Theory for the United States Championship which he lost.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see ‘The Doctor Of Thuganomics’ lay down some Attitude Adjustments once again in the ring. But recently a former WWE champion who is currently feuding with LA Knight took a dig at John Cena which made fans speculate that a tag team battle might soon be on the cards.

John Cena might team up with LA Knight to take on Grayson Waller and former WWE Champion

LA Knight and The Miz have been feuding for the past few weeks now with Knight always getting the better of the two. This week on RAW, The Miz lost to Akira Tozawa while mocking Knight, and if that wasn’t enough, to add insult to injury, LA Knight entered the ring post-match and delivered a BFT to The Miz.

But prior to the match, The Miz was doing his usual trash-talking to the crowd where he was trying to ridicule LA Knight for his loss last week on SmackDown. A win at that match would have got him a shot for the United States championship against Rey Mysterio.

And during that trash-talking session, he also took a direct jibe at John Cena by mentioning their title match at WrestleMania 27. He said that in spite of The Rock interfering in their match, he still emerged victorious that night thus mocking Cena in the process.

Fans are eagerly waiting for Cena to return to the WWE to answer The Miz’s insults. But The Miz might not be alone this time as he might get some assistance from a wrestler who emulates his very existence on The Miz. We are talking about ‘The Arrogant Aussie’ Grayson Waller who already tried to disrespect Cena at MITB but was put in his place after getting an Attitude Adjustment.

So the possibility remains that The Miz and Waller might team up to face Cena and Knight. A tag team match with Cena would be another move in the right direction for the fan-favorite Knight.

At the same time, WWE is slowly revealing some exact details about Cena’s return.

WWE announced that John Cena will make his return on SmackDown on 1st September

Fans got the best news of the year last week when it was announced by Fox Sports that John Cena would be returning to the WWE. As days went by, it was also declared that Cena would be appearing on the September 1st episode of SmackDown.

He would also be appearing in the WWE Superstar Spectacle in India on 8th September which doubled the excitement of the Indian fans. It has been nearly seven years since the WWE last came to India and with Cena’s inclusion in the show, the fans have an added reason to buy a ticket for the event.
