Elon Musk has finally taken over Twitter, and several major changes in the wrestling world have taken place since then. While one wrestling legend left Twitter, another former WWE Superstar pleaded Twitter for seeing his case against WWE.
Over the years, WWE has seen and experienced several memorable rivalries. However, only a few stand out among the rest. Rivalries such as The Rock and Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero, and Vince McMahon vs Stone Cold are some of the greatest feuds.
One such memorable feud in recent times was between John Cena and Ryback. The two heavyweights were involved in a feud against each other for the World Title. However, Cena came out on top always. The Big Guy, Ryback would later walk out of WWE in 2016, and engage in a real-life feud with WWE.

In 2016, Ryback walked out of WWE and left all of it behind. He had claimed money to be an issue along with how he was being used. He would leave his ties with WWE behind and walk past it. However, his relationship with the company was not so simple.
Even after leaving WWE, he took a long time to move on from it. The former Intercontinental Champion would often badmouth WWE and was even in a lot of heat after some comments he made about Vince McMahon. He recently took to Twitter to announce how WWE had exploited him and his social media handles.
He wrote, “Walked out of WWE in 2016 and they wanted my social media but were denied. My accounts instantly got restricted, here being the worst.” The Big Guy further claimed that because of these restrictions, he lost around 300k followers and 0.5% impressions.
Hoping @elonmusk gets all the info on accounts being wrongfully restricted, shadow banned etc. Walked out of WWE in 2016 and they wanted my social media, but were denied. WWE has a history of filing trademarks against several names and jargon they use in the industry. And wrestlers are often bound to change their names once joining another promotion or once they leave WWE. And this was one such case, where they restricted Ryback’s account for using their trademarked names.
WWE Legend deletes Twitter account after Elon Musk takes over
Elon Musk taking over Twitter came as a shocker after there were previous rumors of him not proceeding with the deal. However, he has, and now Twitter is under him. WWE Legend Mick Foley had previously stated that “I’ll be giving some serious thought to leaving @Twitter for good in the near future. I do not have a good feeling about where this platform is heading.” Foley had claimed this after there was news of Musk taking over Twitter.

And now, since that is done, Foley’s account on Twitter cannot be found anymore. Fans guessed that either the account has been deleted or deactivated after Musk’s takeover. Mick Foley was extremely active on the platform where he engaged with the fans. Now, with his account gone, it really is a disheartening matter.
