Despite being a big Hollywood star, John Cena doesn’t stay away from television for too long. As the wrestler’s WWE career seems to be on hiatus for now, reports come in about the next big thing he is ready to do. The news is so far confirmed as The Cenation Leader himself has commented on the same and the show has been green-lit.

The 46-year-old looks all set for his new big TV project. Fans can expect a lot of Cena’s wisdom to shine through as he is about to host a talk show. Interestingly enough, the show will revolve around the guests Cena will feature on the show, as well as the relationships they have with their cars.

The WWE legend is about to hold his first-ever talk show. Fans can catch him on screens if they have access to Roku Media as the project is going to be a Roku Original. In a statement, John Cena promoted the upcoming show while sharing his excitement as well.

This isn’t the first time that the wrestling star has partnered with Roku for an original. In fact, he had a role in an original movie called Die Hart 2. And now, he is all set to have multiple chats on his own show, ‘What Drives You‘.

Cena said in a statement, “The car you drive and where you drive it can say a lot about who you are, from your personality type to what you value and prioritize the most.” The 16-time World Champion then added, “It’s a great opportunity for me to ride shotgun and learn from some of the world’s most entertaining and inspiring individuals.

The concept is for Cena to shotgun alongside a driving guest celebrity while having deep and humorous conversations, driving to a guest-picked destination. Even though the idea has been previously used in the television world, seeing Cena as the host can widely help the ratings for the series.

Even though WWE doesn’t interfere with John Cena’s other projects, fans are still wondering whether he would continue down the wrestling path anymore. The announcement of this show further confirms Cena’s fate in the Stamford-based company.

As mentioned earlier, WWE does not hinder Cena’s professional schedule since he is not a full-timer there anymore. However, being a part-timer means that the wrestler would only appear if he has leisure time left on his schedule. For the latter part of 2023, Cena was free because of the strike in Hollywood. When the strike was officially over, we saw Cena unofficially announce an exit from WWE.
