He won two of those appearances but lost at Mania and Crown Jewel. This was also the year he announced his plans for his future in the business. Cena claimed that he was ready for his final sendoff in the WWE, and with his recent return to the company, fans expect this to be his final run.

While appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Cena made some huge reveals regarding his career in the WWE. He claimed that his schedule for 2024 is filled with projects from Hollywood. However, while that may be disheartening for the fans, Cena did add, “I’m crossing my fingers that I can tell the Hollywood World to pump the brakes and I can come back to my family for one last run.” While Cena is still part of the WWE and has an active contract, this line could hint at what may come.

John Cena may return by the end of the year to start his final feud in the WWE. This will culminate in his last WrestleMania match.
