The answer to this issue is simple: Day 1 Raw is the ideal event for a return of this nature. The deal between WWE and Netflix is set to start in January. This makes perfect sense for Cena’s return as WWE ventures into a new era with a yesteryear marquee star at the helm. It would prove poetic for the WWE to open up a new account of their history with the Cenation leader playing a part. The other venue of his return could be the Royal Rumble match. Perhaps, John Cena could look to set his sights on a major championship to become a 17-time World champion and usurp Ric Flair’s record to round off his legendary WWE career.
However, that doesn’t leave room for Hendry to face Cena at the moment although things could change drastically in the upcoming months for this match to transpire. What are your thoughts on John Cena’s last match vs Joe Hendry? Who would you prefer to watch? Tell us in the comments below.
