His long and rewarding career speaks volumes about it. Recently, a wrestling legend revealed how his advice worked wonders for the Cenation Leader.
The ring gear donned by him was particularly famous among the younger audiences. ‘Never Give Up’ was not only his motto, but he lived and breathed through it. A record-equalling 16 world championships display the amazing time he has had in the ring. Recently, WWE and WCW legend Kevin Nash talked about the sound words of wisdom that he imparted to a young Cena. He was talking on his Kliq This podcast.
The word of advice from the legend

He said, “I’d always take 3X or the biggest I could get because and I told Jonathan (John Cena) and he said he asked me for advice. Always wear a baggy T-shirt because especially if you’re not going to work in it so when you take it off there’s I mean there’s that like holy f**k, like that guy’s got a good physique as opposed to having a T-shirt sprayed on you. And John actually, I mean, throughout his career he always wore an oversized T-shirt“.
It was great words from the experienced campaigner, and Cena, to his credit, heeded it all throughout his illustrious career. While he changed the color of his ring gear often, the oversized t-shirt remained common.
