John Cena is going nowhere, much to the celebration of most WWE fans. The Cenation leader’s strong love and commitment to the company allows him to be there allows him to be participate in most of WWE major events including WrestleMania. While he gave a nod to his Mania participation already, there’s more to the story. His latest Instagram post fueled the existing rumor of a potential run-in with The Great One.

WrestleMania fever is currently prevailing all around the WWE Universe as we are only a month away from the biggest wrestling extravaganza of the year. Heading to Philadelphia, one of the most intriguing twists we came across was the addition of Dwayne The Rock Johnson in the storyline. Although his initial drive to slide into the Cody Rhodes-Roman Reigns affair didn’t bear fruit, he ended up setting up a tag team match against The American Nightmare for Mania Night 1. But will he have a single bout with Cena as well? Here’s the green light you need.

However, while we are not sure if John Cena is eying a potential WrestleMania match with The Rock or not, he certainly has a unique perspective on The Rock’s recent heel turn.

John Cena waits for the ‘end result’ of The Rock’s latest character evolution

John Cena isn’t necessarily a fan of The Rock. But the 16-time world champion isn’t convinced fans will continue booing The Great One in the long run.

“I think Dwayne Johnson is such an attraction, I think The Rock is such an attraction. I don’t think our audience [can be] angry with him.”, Cena told in an interview with Chris Van Vliet.

However, he refrained from giving a judgement on the same as he needs to see the bigger picture first.

”I’d have to see the end result, and I love being surprised, and I also love saying that I’m wrong because I’ve been wrong about a lot of stuff. When I say, ‘I’m wrong,’ that means I’m just about to learn something that I’m not going to forget…” he continued.

We need to see if the two marquee figures end up facing each other from the opposite end of the ring during WrestleMania 2024 or not.
