John Cena Snubs The Rock, Hulk Hogan, and Stone Cold for Controversial WWE Legend

‘The Mount Rushmore of WWE’ is a term often discussed among WWE superstars. It is a list of someone’s four favorite personalities from pro wrestling who shaped the WWE. Despite being asked this question for some time now, WWE legend John Cena recently shocked fans with his answer.

John Cena has been part of the WWE universe for years now. He is considered one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. John Cena became the face of the Ruthless Aggression era after his debut in 2002. 

Sports Illustrated asked John Cena, 8 years ago, who he sees as the Mount Rushmore figures of WWE. Cena gave a humble reply to the question. “The Mount Rushmore of WWE is right now for me, Vince McMahon, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Dwayne Johnson, and a man that deserves his own mountain is Andre the Giant.”

John Cena put the former chairman of the company Vince McMahon on top of his list. He mentioned Andre the Giant too. Cena thinks there is no one like him. He arranged the order of personalities according to their eras in WWE.

John Cena: His future outside the WWE

Recently in a Q and A panel at the Comic-con, Wales, someone asked Cena about the same Mt. Rushmore question and his answer shocked everyone. “I would change the monument right? I would make it a one-person statue and the face would be Vince McMahon,” said Cena.

Thus, Cena didn’t include the other legends.

Vince McMahon has been in the news for a while following allegations of paying hush money to former female employees. Recently, McMahon celebrated his 77th birthday with John Cena and his partner. It is clear that both have a strong bond even outside the WWE. 

Currently, Cena is starring in the Warner Bros television-produced show ‘Peacemaker’. WB renewed the show for a second season after the success of the first one. Cena like, Dwayne Johnson is consistently making his presence in Hollywood bigger. The famous wrestler credited Johnson for the advice he gave him as it helped him in Hollywood.
