John Cena‘s recent social media share ignited a storm of excitement among fans, hinting at a colossal crossover. The WWE icon posted a snapshot from the set of ‘Deadpool 3,’ showcasing Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine alongside Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. This iconic reunion marks a pivotal moment as the R-rated franchise makes its leap into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Cena’s nod adds further anticipation to this epic Marvel amalgamation.

Deadpool 3 receives acknowledgment from the GOAT JOhn Cena

John Cena has stated many times that he does not take his Instagram account seriously. At times, he treats it like a dumpster where he posts random pictures. Many times, it has no context, no meaning. Sometimes, it may send out a message.

WWE Legend John Cena shared a picture from the set of the upcoming movie Deadpool 3 starring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The picture was shared on December 16th where Hugh Jackman was dressed up as Wolverine while standing beside Deadpool. It can be considered as an acknowledgement from the GOAT of WWE for the action star duo.

It will be the third instalment in the R-rated franchise based on the character from Marvel comic Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds and MCU Producer Kevin Feige will produce the movie while Shawn Levy will direct it. The development of the movie began with 20th Century Fox but after the acquisition of the production house by Disney, it returns Deadpool as a character back to Marvel.

The movie will work as a transition for the R-rated character to the MCU and also introduce the X-Men character Wolverine to the MCU franchise. Although Hugh Jackman returned as Wolverine earlier, he came back for his friend Ryan Reynolds. They have even worked as Deadpool and Wolverine in the movie X—Men Origins.

Even John Cena has a pleasant past with Hugh Jackman as the two superstars met on the set of ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ in 2017. The Doctor of Thuganomics was known for his trash-talking skills during his active days in wrestling. But the Australian Hugh Jackman gave Cena a dose of his own. 

During a segment in the interview, Jackman said in a high-pitch “Is that it, John Cena? Is that it? With your blue eyes and your perfect hair and your beautiful three-piece suit, and your fashionable, expensive three-piece suit, you look amazing…John Cena, do you understand me? You are amazing.” Cena was stunned by Jackman’s sudden response.
