According to the tweet, Orton wants to go out in the most legendary way possible. You can see it for yourself in the tweet attached below.
Randy Orton says in three of four years, he wants to be tied on 16 world titles with John Cena – who would be heel and have Ric Flair in his corner – and they face off at WrestleMania to see who gets the record number 17 and they both have to retire after.

This would honestly be one of the biggest matches in WWE history. Two of the greatest Superstars to ever step in the ring squaring off to break one of WWE’s most legendary records at the biggest stage of them all!
I can only imagine the amount of hype around this match. Forget Orton vs Edge, this one is your greatest wrestling match ever.
Over the past few weeks, “The Legend Killer” has time and again expressed his desire of breaking Ric Flair’s all-time record of most championship reigns and cementing his legacy as the best.
Currently, Orton stands at 13 Championship reigns, while Ric Flair holds his record at 16. What isn’t surprising is that John Cena has the same amount of Championship reigns as Ric Flair.
With John Cena out of the picture currently, Randy Orton has ample time to bridge the gap and make it 16. Ric Flair also encouraged him to do that before getting punt-kicked in the head.
Randy Orton has to win the title 3 more times
This match will definitely be the biggest thing. Both Superstars have been in the business for over 20 years. The experience they carry with themselves along with the characters they have made famous are priceless.
Randy Orton and John Cena are two of the best Superstars WWE has ever seen. They have also been the most successful throughout their time in the business.
This would be the most fitting ending to their legendary careers. The winner here will truly take it all and the back story would be absolutely monumental. The fact that the two Superstars’ careers are in the balance makes it all the more emotional.

The writers will surely consider this storyline, as it will bring in the big bucks and has the potential to exceed any match WWE has ever had. This is as big as it can get.
For now, Randy Orton has to work on making this dream a reality by bridging that gap of 3 Championship reigns. He can start with Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam.
