John Cena Reacts to Fans Blaming Him for Ruining Their Childhood: “I’m Old and That’s Me”

It’s no secret that the WWE Universe wholeheartedly follows the legends who made their name in the business. Be it their in-ring matches or their projects in other industries, not only do they keep a track of their work but also of their appearances. Fans can be the massive supporters as well as the biggest critics. And who would know this better than John Cena himself?

Right now, all of us know about the bald head spot of The Champ. This was brought up by many people on social media and also his WrestleMania opponent, Austin Theory. He has consistently fired shots at Cena, whether it’s about his baldness or the legend’s look for his upcoming Hollywood project. However, Cena has given his rival a classic reply already. Now, he has shared his views on fans’ reaction to his thinning hairline. 

John Cena opens up on fans’ reaction to his thinning hair

Speaking on Whiskey Ginger with Andrew Santino, The Franchise Player shed some light on his changed look and people’s reaction to it. He presented the takes and opinions of fans on his aging. Some of them  have even stated it ruined their childhood.

To this, the 45-year-old said, “So I came back and they’re like Cena’s hair is thinning. What the f**k like, yeah, because I’m old and that’s me.”

“But people get so attached to the character they’ve grown up with for 20 years like I’ve always Penthouse has always been a little thin but I always used to cut it really short so you really couldn’t see that,” Cena added. 

In his statements, The Cenation Leader not only opened up about his frustration with fans’ reactions but also clarified how his hair was the same in the past. It was just his technique of presenting it in a way that never seemed to be any different.

However, now the 16-time world champion has some other priorities as well. Thus, he has changed his way of styling his hair. But why did he do so? 

Why The Champ has changed his hairstyle?

While discussing the same topic, Cena explained his decision to maintain this new look. Having a career as a Hollywood actor, there is a  responsibility to look a certain way and make it easy for the artists to transform you into the required character. Therefore, to make his look versatile, he has transformed his hairstyle.

He said, “I like having this sort of style because it’s versatile for somebody in the makeup chair.” He also adds how, in such a look, one can transform him into a Ricky Stanicky character from his upcoming movie or into whomever they want him to be. 

Acting is his job, and he has to do whatever it demands. However, he understands how his new look has crushed many hearts.
