John Cena Pitches a New Challenge for Roman Reigns Outside the Boundaries of WWE as He Continues to Dominate Inside the Squared Circle

Ever since John Cena joined the movie industry, he has been a part of several successful films and television series. And for the past few years, he also found himself as an integral part of the Fast & Furious franchise. Cena joined the $5 billion franchise, as one of the main casts in its ninth installment F9. Fast X just released and stars the 16x WWE World Champion. However, just days before the film’s release date, John Cena joined Josh Horowitz in an interview for promoting the film. And during this time, he dropped two names that should appear in the film in the future and both are connected to WWE.

The Leader of Cenation would take names of two WWE superstars that had a connection with the franchise, and hoped for them to appear in the movie. Without dropping any major spoilers, Cena claimed that he expected The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, and former Fast & Furious actor, Dwayne Johnson to appear in Fast X.

What did John Cena claim about Roman Reigns and Dwayne Johnson appearing in Fast X?

Both Roman Reigns and Dwayne Johnson have a history with the franchise. Reigns first and last appeared in Hobbs & Shaw, while Johnson also last appeared in the franchise in the same movie. The Rock would leave the franchise due to his personal issues with Vin Diesel.

During the interview, Cena claimed that he wanted to see those two return to the franchise due to their history with it. He said, “Well, Roman kind of had a thing in Hobbs and Shaw. So he’s like loosely connected. So we can get him back and I say Hobbs and Shaw, what’s Hobbs doing these days?”

The 45-year-old pitched a new challenge for The Tribal Chief amidst his domination in WWE. Roman Reigns has been one of the most dominant wrestlers in the industry for the past few years, and Cena came forward with another challenge for him, this time outside the WWE.

Dwayne Johnson is heavily rumored to be back in the franchise, brushing past his differences with Diesel. Cena further claimed, ” I think that works. So, those are two I think are connected to the universe.”

Fast X is finally out in the theaters, and fans can visit their nearest movie theaters to catch the movie, and check if Johnson is finally back or not. Johnson had previously ended his role on a high note in Hobbs & Shaw, but fans are now expecting him to return in Fast X.
