And thanks to his ethics and style of doing things, John Cena has gained respect during his career. Thus, it is very difficult to imagine Cena mistreating anyone, especially an old person. However, he revealed one instance in which, at the age of 20, he misbehaved with a 60-year-old while he was working at a bar.

John Cena was disrespectful to a 60-year-old person in a bar

Cena’s journey has been really coming for a really long and now he has made himself a global superstar. Interestingly, long before his Hollywood career and WWE career while speaking to Jimmy Kimmel on his show 7 years ago, he revealed that he worked as a bouncer at a bar in California.

During the conversation, Kimmel asked about at what age he was working at the bar and his experience working there. In reply, he remembered how he had mistreated an elderly person. He stated, “I was in my 20s and this is me coming out to you. And I’m really sorry for all that my manager really put fear in God me. I need this job and he really said ‘hey man, I don’t want any issues with the alcohol beverage commission, no one who doesn’t show you an ID can’t get in.’”

“And you do well aware that down the beach, I mean there are tons of bars down there and I’m sitting at the front door and Hawaiian‘s shirt sizes too small with the blonde Mohawk. And people will come up like 60-year-old people. ‘Hey can I get in’ You ID? ‘nope’ Get the hell out of here.”

It’s well known that bars must check IDs and that if they break the rules, they might lose their license. And his management thus gave him the order to follow this without fail. So, The Champ didn’t really mean to treat them poorly. And he didn’t would like to, but he had to since it was required of him and he was just following the manager’s instructions.
