John Cena Once Dropped a Major Lil Rel Howery “Spoiler” for the Upcoming Vacation Friends 2 Film, at the Time the First Installment Hit the Theaters

John Cena is a multi-talented actor and wrestler. After years of portraying a serious on-screen character on WWE, who meant business, John Cena brought a humorous treat for the audience with his heartwarming film “Vacation Friends”. The first installment of “Vacation Friends” was released in 2021. It won the hearts of the audience with its comic storyline and fantastic chemistry between the cast.

During the promotions for the first installment, the multi-talented actor shared an intriguing spoiler that left everyone excited.

John Cena shares a ‘Howery’ spoiler on the promotion of “Vacation Friends”

John Cena appeared on The Tonight Show for the promotion of Vacation Friends first installment. During his interview, he addressed various matters like returning to WWE and his upcoming films. During the discussion on Howery’s stand-up performances, Cena accidentally revealed the spoiler.

He said, “You know what I was going to say to Lil Rel? Because when I’ve seen him do stand-up – I saw him at this charity he did for Denis Leary called “Comics Come Home” in Boston. And he was so funny, but his laugh makes me laugh. He’s got like a, “Yeh-yeh-yeh.” Or something like a weird.”

Cena’s light-hearted remark suggested that Howery has a unique laugh, which cannot go unnoticed.

He continued, “He’s got a weird laugh, and he didn’t use it in this movie. And I’m like — That’s the secret move that he has. -Saving it for the sequel. Spoiler alert! -It is so funny, though. If I can set the stage — Let me do my job a little bit.”

Cena while speaking accidentally revealed about Lil Rel Howery’s secret move in the sequel. The “Vacation Friends” 2 is going to release on 25 August 2023.

John Cena is going to feature in Greta Gerwig’s star-studded Barbie. WWE star appeared in NBC News’s Today Show. He spoke about his experience working on the sets of Barbie.

He is cast as a merman in the Margot Robbie-led family comedy film. While discussing with the host about getting the part in the movie Cena revealed that he had been trying to get into the film and it was because of  Margot Robbie he got the gig.

John Cena spoke that while he was shooting for “Fast X”, “Barbie” was shot across the street. He described it as a pure coincidence that he met Robbie and got the part.

Cena’s character choices have always been different. He has featured in the best of films with the amazing cast and crew. Cena is a dedicated and passionate actor and never hides behind doing the same character.

After witnessing Cena in hardcore action sequences in “Fast X”, fans are now excited to see him in a light comedy with the upcoming films, “Barbie” and “Vacation Friends 2”
