John Cena will star in the television series ‘Peacemaker’. The television series that is created by James Gunn witnessed the reunion of Cena and Gunn who previously worked together in ‘The Suicide Squad’.
Fans are pretty excited about the release of ‘Peacemaker’. Especially after Cena played the ‘Peacemaker’ character to perfection in ‘The Suicide Squad’.
During a recent episode of the Pardon My Take podcast, the former WWE Champion revealed what made him nervous on the Peacemaker‘s first day of filming.

John Cena said, “I can’t sing. I can’t dance. And my first day of shooting in front of 70 strangers, even with the COVID safety protocols, I’m in tighty whities.”
Further, he said, “So, I’m told to do two things I’m really new and not proficient at and not be good at, and do it with pretty much showing my junk to the world. I was nervous about that.”
Cena also praised James Gunn for doing it on the first day. He noted that it kind of set the tone to just have fun. “But that was our first day and hats off to James Gunn for doing it for day one,” the former WWE Champion added.

James Gunn revealed the reason behind continuing the Peacemaker story following ‘The Suicide Squad’
Previously, John Cena played the ‘Peacemaker’ character in ‘The Suicide Squad’ movie, directed by James Gunn.
Recently in an interview with SUPES, Gunn revealed the reason for continuing the Peacemaker story after ‘The Suicide Squad’ movie.
At first, Gunn revealed that he really got along with Cena. He mentioned he thought it would be fun to continue to work with him. Later, he noted he believed there was a lot to explore about the Peacemaker character.
Peacemaker got recently premiered on HBO Max with the first three episodes of the television series.

Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, and Jennifer Holland are some of the other stars that will appear in the series, along with the former WWE Champion.
