John Cena Ignored His Father’s Constant Pleas to Go Through Immense Strife Before Becoming a WWE Icon

John Cena is one of the WWE greats and has made a name for himself in the industry. Cena made his debut in WWE way back in 2002 but has come a long way from that. From his initial days as a struggler, Cena is now one of the highest-paid sports entertainment industry athletes.

After an extremely successful WWE career, Cena switched careers and is now a Hollywood superstar. In the acting business, Cena has starred in several successful film franchises. He is currently a well-known face in the movie business. With some high-profile projects coming up, he is not stopping any soon.

However, not everything was so shiny always for Cena. He had to struggle a lot and make a name for himself in the industry. After years of hard work, determination, and dedication, he reached the top spot. Or, as Cena’s words, ‘Hustle, Loyalty and Respect’ is what got him to the top.

In a 2018 interview with Playboy, Cena talked about his initial struggles. After graduating college, the 16-time World Champion thought it would be better to move to California than stay in Massachusetts. Cena moved to California with nothing to his name, and all he could do was find resources to survive. Initially, he started living with a friend, however, after that fell through he had to live in his car and shower in the Gold’s gym.

However, he never lost hope, or call it his arrogance, he did not go back to his hometown. However, when he moved away from his home, he was broke, and his father did doubt his survival in California. And pleaded with him to come home. He said, “When I got out there, I was damn sure going to last more than two weeks.” The ‘Never Give Up’ attitude of Cena helped him survive and become a big star. He stood his ground and made a name for himself.

Peacemaker Season 2 is coming out!

John Cena is currently on a roll and has already starred in several top projects, with many more coming up. A few months ago, Cena was a part of DC’s highly acclaimed Peacemaker. It is one of the highest-rated DC projects of all time.

John Cena recently took to Twitter to announce exciting news on one of his upcoming projects. He posted on Instagram a cryptic post about the Peacemaker. The post featured a season 2 tease of Peacemaker, and fans were extremely excited about seeing it. However, nothing is confirmed, but Peacemaker Season 2 might still be on its way.
