John Cena Gave Cold Shoulder to Becky Lynch and Fuelled a Fire That Made Her Big Time Becks

Becky Lynch is currently one of the top superstars in WWE. Even though she is playing the heel character right now, fans still adore the Raw Women’s Champion.

Becky’s rise to superstardom is a journey that is worth praising. But the road to superstardom has not been an easy one for Big Time Becks.

Recently, during an interview on Broken Skull Sessions, Lynch recalled the moment when she asked John Cena for advice after winning her first SmackDown Women’s Championship in 2016.

The WWE Raw Women’s Champion said, “I used to always ask John Cena for advice. And when I asked him, he said, ‘I don’t know who you are.’ He’s like, ‘Who are you?’ And I said, ‘Well, yeah I’m Becky.’”

“But he was right. I didn’t know who I was. I didn’t really have an identity. I was searching for that. And I suppose I was the little scrappy underdog from Ireland, but it wasn’t immediately establishable,” she added.

These words from Cena might have fueled a fire that made Becky Lynch the top star she is today in WWE.

Big Time Becks is currently all set to defend the Raw Women’s Championship at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble.

Ever since Lynch made a return to WWE at the 2021 SummerSlam PPV, Lynch has found one way or the other to defend the title.
