The Crown Jewel PLE will take place on November 4th and has a legacy to feature many stalwarts on their match cards. This year, the show will feature John Cena as one of the star attractions for the show. After multiple segments featuring The Bloodline, fans speculated a match between John Cena and a member of The Bloodline.

Initially, WWE teased multiple opponents for John Cena for a few weeks. But, now WWE has finally given confirmation on the status of Cena’s match with just a week left. But who will face Cena at Crown Jewel?

John Cena is back to SmackDown for a few shows due to the ongoing WGA strike. However, his current run is better than his other runs as he is helping push younger stars. Cena would be up against Solo Sikoa for another singles match at Crown Jewel.

 

WWE notified their fans of the recent John Cena match through their latest tweet on X on October 27th. The tweet read, “BREAKING: As first announced by @peopl, “The Greatest of All Time” @JohnCena will go one-on-one with @WWESoloSikoa at #WWECrownJewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia!

It is not surprising for many that John Cena will face Solo Sikoa at the Saudi Arabia PLE as WWE hinted at the potential feud. Many fans even speculated another tag match involving LA Knight but with the Megastar set to take Roman Reigns, this match was inevitable.

Cena’s partner, LA Knight has recently defeated Solo Sikoa last week when The Megatstar faced Sikoa on SmackDown. The following night, Knight took on Jimmy Uso in Staurday Night Main Event. But will it affect Cena’s match against Solo?

Will Cena win his first singles match since 2018?

Solo Sikoa has been one of the top performers who has only suffered a few singles losses since his main roster debut last year. WWE has tried to protect Solo Sikoa throughout his main roster career. Till now, only 3 superstars have managed to pin The Enforcer of The Bloodline. 

On the other hand, Cena has not won a singles match since 2018 when he beat Triple H at The Greatest Royal Rumble PLE. Cena addressed the same match on last week’s RAW as well. In addition to this, WWE is using him to push younger talents in his recent run.
