John Cena, who himself has a record of being the 16-time WWE Champion believes that this pro wrestler is very underrated. Cena recently opened up about his experiences with the said champion and how one of his biggest matches with the star was.

In a video posted by WWE, John Cena broke down legendary matches from his career. The first match on the list was his 2010 Extreme Rules match with The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. As he saw the elbow hits from the match, he commented that those were pretty decent. He then said what he felt about Brock Lesnar. “Brock is one of a kind. I truly love watching him.” Cena also stated that according to him, Lesnar has to be one of the most legitimate and honest stars in the promotion.

“There’s a ringside sign that says legitimacy is returned, and that says it all when it comes to him.” Cena then said that he always loved Lesnar as a performer and he thinks that, “he’s extremely underrated, even though he’s in that conversation of the greatest of all time.” The match between Cena and Lesnar at Extreme Rules 2010 is considered one of the most brutal fights. Cena was McMahon’s top guy at the time and Lesnar just came back from his run at UFC. Even though he was bloodied just after the opening bell, Cena still managed to win the bout.

Brock Lesnar truly proved that night why he deserved to be called The Beast Incarnate. But according to John Cena, he is not literally a savage outside the ring.

After highlighting how ]underrated he is, Cena said that he truly loves and admires Brock Lesnar. He said, “I love him as a human being”, showing that Lesnar on a personal level is a delight to be with. There are a few people who had worked backstage at WWE that talked about Brock Lesnar being great to work with. The Leader of the Cenation then said, “ He is wholeheartedly himself and shoots you straight, and at least you know where you stand with him at all times.”

The 46-year-old star said that he loves this quality of Lesnar the most. He even added that they have had a healthy relationship over the past years. He even said that though they have envisioned different paths for themselves, they still root for each other. The comments made by Cena go to show that not only do they have an incredible rivalry in the ring, but they also have amazing backstage chemistry.
