John Cena Admitted to His Unique Quirk as a Celebrity on the Internet

John Cena recently made a huge comeback to WWE after a long tenure after being busy with filming projects. ‘The Champ’ has clearly established that he is here to stay via his heightened involvement with major storylines. While Cena has made a comeback on WWE, he hasn’t returned alone. In fact, he has come back with a unique quirk as an internet celebrity.

John Cena is known for making several influential social media posts on his X and Facebook accounts. However, things take a 180-degree spin when it comes to Instagram. Lately, he posted a no-explanation picture of a WWE superstar on his account. The post wreaked havoc on the internet, rekindling the possibility of a fantasy feud that developed years ago.

John Cena takes responsibility for his shenanigans

Karrion Kross is one of WWE’s up-and-coming prospects. Within just one year of being back on the main roster, he has worked with celebrated veterans like Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, and AJ Styles. The 38-year-old recently appeared on the Chris Van Vliet podcast where he was asked about a potential John Cena feud. It was especially after Cena’s Instagram post where he uploaded a picture of Kross on his page.

Van Vliet questioned Kross if he ever asked Cena directly about the Instagram post. Answering his question, the wrestler said, “I did. I said, was that you or was that your media team? He goes –  ‘it was on Instagram?’ I go, yeah, and he goes – ‘That was me.’ Like, okay cool.” John Cena took responsibility for his shenanigans and confirmed that he indeed made the post. 

 In fact, fans are especially crazy about their matchup because they have been demanding it for a very long time. However, he refused to give an explanation about his intentions even in a face-to-face interaction. This latest development got the WWE Universe heavily involved in a possible Cena versus Kross feud.

WWE Universe with massive demands for Kross vs Cena action

Triple H is the man in charge of booking fights and creating storylines. However, the internet enables fans to create their own fantasy matchups as well. According to Karrion Kross, during the lockdown, the internet was blowing up with demands of a Cena versus Kross feud. But, the wrestler just looked the other way thinking it was just another fun campaign on the internet. 

Now, the same internet campaign has grown greatly in significance after Cena’s latest Instagram shenanigans. If Karrion Kross and Cena go against each other, that would mark a major feud in Kross’ career.
