When he rented the billboard in Glasgow, Scotland, ahead of Clash at the Castle, it cost Hendry a fortune. He talked to the wrestling legend Chris Jericho about the same on his podcast and also revealed the reaction that he received. The TNA Impact wrestler claimed on the ‘Talk Is Jericho’ podcast, “It cost about a thousand dollars. And I’ll tell you, that’s probably the best thousand dollars I’ve ever spent. For sure. The amount of fans that took pictures beside it.” Besides this, he also revealed the reaction from the fans and said, “They loved it. They were like hilarious. They responded very, very well, which I’m really happy about.

Although he wasn’t barred from being at WWE, Hendry probably found it funnier to rent the billboard and let fans have all the fun with it. As he claims, the reaction also seemed positive for the most part. Some of the fans paid him back by carrying him with them when going to WWE shows after CATC.

Several days after the Glasgow incident, when fans showed up on Monday Night Raw 07/01, they did not expect to see Joe Hendry in the arena. They were right to believe so because he wasn’t physically under the roof. However, a fan carried the wrestler with them. They took a screenshot of him in the iconic ‘I Believe in Joe Hendry’ music video and pasted it on a placard before coming to watch the red brand show live.

Before one of the infamous Uncle Howdy promos, the Scottish wrestler himself caught a glimpse of the same. He then took to social media to upload the tribute after spotting it. This probably made him happy. While talking to Jericho, he also mentioned how he has never had a wave of fame like this in his wrestling career. So, the support from fans feels special to the wrestling talent.
