Will Jimmy Uso's return at SummerSlam reignite the Bloodline's dominance in WWE?

The Anoa’i family has been around for a long time in the wrestling business and the talents have been over with the fans of every generation. The gimmicks that the wrestlers use in the ring are not often the most comfortable and don’t coincide with their personal lives. When The Bloodline elder Rikishi made a decisive decision about his gimmick, he didn’t do it alone. He asked his sons first.

One of the most popular things about Rikishi’s career is the ‘thong’ that he used to wear while giving his opponents the ‘stink face’. In an interview, Jimmy Uso revealed his involvement in deciding on the thong as his father’s wrestling gear.

Rikishi started training his sons early about wrestling gimmicks by asking for their opinions while making big decisions during his career run. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Jimmy Uso and his younger brother revealed the decisions that they helped their father make. When the WWE Hall of Famer may have been thinking about wearing a thong to the ring as his gimmick demanded, he asked whether The Usos would be comfortable with it. They claimed that they assured their father that they would be fine with it. “I’m sure it’s weird. I couldn’t imagine that, right? I remember he went out there and he wore it. His a** was like the best thing that ever happened to him,said Jimmy Uso.

This run occurred during the Attitude Era when the ‘original’ Bloodline member gained a great push with this new outfit. So, it couldn’t have happened if both Jey and Jimmy Uso hadn’t helped their father make this crucial call. After helping his father so many years ago, will Jimmy be able to help himself now that his return could be approaching?

With the rumors floating around, you wouldn’t be wrong to think that Jimmy Uso might show up this coming weekend in Cleveland. This is because he is being speculated to return alongside the former Head of the Table to get the same babyface pop as him. When he leaves the ‘dark side’ behind, Jimmy will finally be able to redeem himself by making it up to him for all the betrayals so far. Since the interests would be aligned, it would make sense for them to come together. But will it be efficient amidst all the chaos?

To stand out and face the rogue Bloodline, the former WWE Tag Team champion will have to change his primal tendencies of a heel. He has to overcome his own nature to become better. So, it only makes sense for this change to happen if the former tag team champion is to receive a push from the promotion. Talking about the fans, he has already been over with them, and seeing how much they are missing his presence and the role he could play in this storyline, it may be a sight to behold for the viewers.
