Jimmy Uso didn’t just face his exile from The Bloodline but also an exile from WWE programming because of an injury. Although a lot has transpired since he left, it appears that now is the moment for him to return.
The Bloodline has been dominant in the WWE, and they are now feuding with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. In this circumstance, Solo Sikoa & Co. has a numerical advantage, and Jimmy Uso can make up the difference between the two teams. And this is why Jimmy Uso’s return is the subject of much conjecture right now. It appears that he may return to the company at this week’s SmackDown.
Taking place at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York, The Bloodline will acknowledge their newest member, Jacob Fatu, into the faction. But there might be another reason for the ceremony altogether – Jimmy Uso’s return to the fold for Money in the Bank’s tag team battle between The Bloodline and the Babyface team.

It will be a six-man battle, seeing as the Babyface team has only three members – Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. Considering this, The Bloodline will have to choose who will be left out of the battle, seeing as they have four members: Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and the Tongas. Although it has yet to be disclosed which three guys from the Bloodline will compete in the fight, this has fueled speculation that Jimmy Uso may return. This is because if Uso returns, Bloodline will not need to select three men, allowing the whole faction to participate in the match.
With all this talk around Jimmy Uso’s exile from The Bloodline and his possible return to go against them, his father hinted at a possible singles career for Jimmy. “I have no doubt that even when Jimmy [Uso] comes back if he decides to move forward on his own. These boys (Jimmy and Jey Uso), they’re already prepped for singles competition. They’re prepped for entertainment. They’re prepped for the main event, and the only thing stopping [them] was just an opportunity.” But this, apart from him joining the Babyface team, isn’t the only rumor surrounding his return.

After Roman Reigns lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, he’s been away from the promotion. In the meantime, Solo Sikoa has wreaked havoc, revamping The Bloodline. Because of this, there are rumors that when the Tribal Chief returns, there will be a civil war – Bloodline 2.0 versus Reigns and his team. But who will join him? That’s where Jimmy Uso comes in. In the case of a civil war, fans speculate that Reigns could reunite with the Usos and potentially even bring in Sami Zayn.
That said, with Friday Night SmackDown and the MITB tag team challenge on the horizon, fans are more inclined to the idea of Jimmy Uso returning on either occasion rather than as late as Roman Reigns’ return.

The community has varying perspectives on Uso’s return to the WWE. The 06/28 event in Madison Square Garden is supposed to be an acknowledgment ceremony for Fatu, but what if it’s more? There’s a widespread belief that the WWE could usher in the return of the former Bloodline member. “The only reason they’re doing an acknowledgment ceremony, in my opinion, is for Jimmy.”
Furthermore, some fans believe Uso will not return just to participate but to take over proceedings. The next SmackDown episode airs from Madison Square Garden, a historic venue in wrestling folklore. The WWE could set up a 4v4 match with The Bloodline’s numerical disadvantage gone for a toss if Uso returns to the fold. “I think it’s gonna be 4 vs 4 at MITB with Jimmy joining team Cody 🤔. Maybe the announcement will be made on smackdown or directly at MITB.”
Having been thrown out of The Bloodline, there’s no question that Jimmy Uso would want revenge. Because of this, there’s the prospect of Uso returning to the forefront and putting a wrench in the plans of his former faction. “It’s definitely a strong possibility…..that man coming back looking for revenge.” Just like Fatu demolished Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and the WWE Universal champion, the Babyface team could enlist the help of Uso to even the odds and return the favor.

“Yeah, he will return to help Cody, KO, and Randy to close the show.” At WWE Clash of the Castle on June 15, Solo Sikoa orchestrated a 3-on-1 attack on Cody Rhodes. That’s when Owens and Orton joined the brawl to even the odds. Turns out, fans were expecting Uso to return back then itself. “I thought this was Cody’s plan last Friday before Randy and Owens came out.” That story continued on SmackDown the following weekend, the vents of which set the stage for the six-man tag team match.
While Jimmy Uso didn’t make his return on June 15, do you think June 28 is the night he’ll finally come back? And will it accelerate the story of The Bloodline? Share your thoughts in the comments!
