Jimmy Uso has been missing from the promotion for over two months now. The main reason behind this is that The Bloodline viciously exiled him on SmackDown after WrestleMania 40 due to his shortcomings. The Anoa’i family member probably doesn’t feel like he belongs in the wrestling promotion anymore. However, that may soon change because the internet believes his return is near.
Although WWE hasn’t revealed anything about Jimmy Uso ever since The Bloodline attacked him, fans think that Friday Night SmackDown on 06/28 could mark his comeback. Taking place at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York, The Bloodline is set to ‘acknowledge’ their newest member, Jacob Fatu, into the heel faction.
And what better way to move forward than acknowledging the past and coming to terms with it? On a night of historic proportions, The Bloodline may have to deal with a ghost from the past, while Jimmy Uso could opt to resolve his strenuous past and move forward in his WWE career. Speaking of his WWE career, legend Rikishi recently discussed a potential singles career for Jimmy Uso.

In an appearance on the Off The Top podcast, Rikishi said, “I have no doubt that even when Jimmy [Uso] comes back if he decides to move forward on his own. These boys, they’re already prepped for singles competition. They’re prepped for entertainment. They’re prepped for the main event, and the only thing stopping [them] was just an opportunity.” With one of his sons (Jey Uso) already one of the top babyfaces on RAW, he believes Jimmy has what it takes, too. That’s not all.
With Roman Reigns losing his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikao assumed the reigns (no pun intended) of The Bloodline and has completely changed how it looks. Including the removal of Jimmy Uso. Considering all this, Rikishi also believes that Roman Reigns’ return is impending. He said, “I think Roman comes back. Maybe the twins come back and turn babyface. Tag team back up again, have Paul Heyman with them, and go up against Solo [Sikoa] and the crew.”
Coming back to Friday Night SmackDown on 06/28. When WWE announced the Acknowledgment Ceremony for The Bloodline, the social media post raised a few eyebrows because of poor editing. It is believed that Jacob Fatu wasn’t available for the photoshoot because of his delayed debut, and thus, the Stamford-based company had to Photoshop him in the poster. But who did they Photoshop him on? Presumably Tonga Loa. From the picture, it seems he and Fatu were wearing the same suit (likely just mirror images of each other). They also struck the same pose, and their hands were in similar positions. See for yourself.
THIS FRIDAY on #SmackDown @WWE returns to @TheGarden for The Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony. ☝️

Apart from this rather glaring editing error, fans are quite excited about the event as they believe this could be the moment they reintroduce Jimmy Uso to the wrestling world.
Will Jimmy Uso be back in WWE this upcoming Friday?
Jacob Fatu made his debut at last week’s SmackDown. To celebrate his barbaric arrival in the promotion, The Bloodline is holding an anointment ceremony for him at MSG. Since there have been prior announcements for the same, fans believe that Jimmy Uso may also be coming back, making it an even bigger event because of the big twist in the storyline.
Replying to the official announcement tweet by WWE regarding Fatu’s acknowledgment ceremony, a fan wrote how they could “smell” Jimmy Uso’s return to the promotion. Although he didn’t leave the promotion like his younger twin, the sight of his return could prove soothing for sore eyes. “I smell Jimmy Uso’s return,” they wrote.
This is the type of booking that could work in WWE’s favor in the long term. Three things will happen if the promotion takes this path. Firstly, the anointment will be done as promised to the fans. Secondly, we will see Jimmy Uso’s return. And to top it all off, we will potentially have a match between The Bloodline leader and the reigning Undisputed Champion. The babyface team, which consists of Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton, has a numerical disadvantage now that Fatu has joined the ranks of The Bloodline.
On Monday Night RAW, they announced that The Bloodline will compete in a six-man tag team match against Rhodes, Owens, and Orton. While it’s announced to be a three-on-three match, if Jimmy Uso returns and chooses to go against his family, it could potentially become an eight-man tag team match.
Now it's clear this Friday night smackdown in bloodline acknowledgement segment cody's team interfere and got brutal attack from bloodline and here comes Jimmy uso return and the cody's team then at mitb we gonna get a 8 man tag team match if bloodline wins cody vs Solo in SS

Meanwhile, a user denied the possibility that this announcement is just for Jacob Fatu’s Bloodline inclusion. Instead, it could be an interesting way of surprising fans by bringing in Jimmy Uso during the ceremony and giving a glimpse of where his character could be headed in the future. The WWE, under Triple H’s rein, has done the unexpected. So, there could be more to this than meets the eye.

As one fan pleaded, “Roman, please return after [the tag-team] match,” another stated, “Naw, more like a Jimmy Uso return.” Many fans hope to see the older Uso return to the promotion this Friday. Would it be a far-fetched idea to see Jimmy Uso trying to be babyface just yet? Or maybe the Samoan wrestling star could be just in the ‘grey’ zone for now, not defining his boundaries clearly as of yet until his heart has completely changed.
Hopefully we get a Jimmy Uso return https://t.co/V1Vhy3oEe5 pic.twitter.com/MyKwpVMvZ8

Another internet user is sure that this announcement on the official X page is less about the induction of The Werewolf into the family stable and more about the return of the kicked-out member as he comes back for sweet revenge against his real-life little brother. In an ominous tone, they wrote, “Jimmy Uso return incoming…”
