After backstabbing his brother Jey at SummerSlam and forcing him to leave, Jimmy Uso considers himself to be the biggest superstar on SmackDown. He even went on to make the same claim during John Cena’s return but was put in place by an Attitude Adjustment. Jimmy now faces a 2 time WWE World champion who is pretty miffed with him after he interfered in his match last week.

Fans are anticipating that this match might eventually lead to the emergence of Roman Reigns on SmackDown soon.

Jimmy Uso to face AJ Styles on SmackDown

Last week on SmackDown, Jimmy Uso interrupted John Cena, who addressed a packed arena who had come especially to see him. After disrespecting him, Cena returned the favor by making him aware that he was the Uso who should have left SmackDown. That was followed by a destructive Attitude Adjustment in the middle of the ring.

But that was not the end of Jimmy that night. He continued to disrespect other stars like Mia Yim, who was having a word with Adam Pearce. This annoyed AJ Styles who confronted Jimmy as he exited the Arena. That resulted in a minor altercation, and Solo Sikoa attacked Styles from behind.

Also during Solo Sikoa’s match with AJ Styles, Jimmy popped out from under the ring and pushed Styles over as he was about to execute a phenomenal forearm. This cost ‘The Phenomenal One’ the match against Sikoa.

Hence in order to avenge that backstage attack and loss, AJ Styles will be facing Jimmy Uso tonight on SmackDown. But Styles better be prepared this time, as Sikoa might once again turn up to spoil the party.

The last time Roman Reigns and AJ Styles fought each other was close to 7 years ago at Extreme Rules for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Styles lost that match due to interferences from Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and The Usos. Hence fans are keeping their fingers crossed that Styles’ renewed feud with Jimmy and Solo Sikoa might give him another shot at the championship.
