WWE is home to several wrestling legends. Starting from WWWF, the company gradually made its way to the present, winning over the audience. Part of the credit goes to the several talented wrestlers the promotion had. However, these talents don’t always make it easy on the management. The company tries its best to negotiate with wrestlers’ needs. Hulk Hogan‘s case is no different from this.
The wrestling legend has worked in various promotions, with WWE being an iconic time of his career. When Hogan was ascending the ladder of his wrestling potential, Jim Ross revealed that he wasn’t the easiest talent to work with.

Ross and Hogan didn’t work together for that long. However, the two crossed paths a few times during their years of work. During the latest episode of his podcast, ‘Grilling JR’, the former commentator recalled his first PPV event. Jim Ross joined WWE in 1993 and called his first PPV during the same year at King of the Ring.
“It was an interesting day to see how business was transacted behind the scenes,” confessed Ross about the event after detailing Hogan’s behavior during the night.
“He had needs, and that happens when you’re a big star. He spent a lot of time with Vince [McMahon] during that time, to work out a finish [for his match], which I didn’t understand, and why it took so long. Nonetheless, I guess it’s part of the routine,” Ross shared his experience with the audience. He indicated that Hogan had demands that WWE had to take care of.
Hogan had his ups and downs with many stars of his ear but he also made friends during his time in the business. One of them is ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair.
In February, Flair made a claim about his friend to portray him in a positive light.

Hogan has long been surrounded by controversies. Whether it was sooner or later in his career, fans have seen him in the midst of heated arguments a bunch of times.
However, Flair offers a different perspective on Hogan if any fan is trying to judge him based on his controversies. During an episode of the podcast, ‘To Be The Man’, Flair said that Hogan deserves much respect.
Nature Boy said so because he felt like Hogan didn’t get enough credit for the times he made big donations. He recalled Hogan would do ‘Make-a-Wish’ charities back in the 90s every night in every arena. So, Flair believes Hogan doesn’t get his due respect from time to time.
